We take small groups or individuals on a leisurely morning, or afternoon walk with llamas. We don't have set days or times. A stroll averages 2+ hours. The distance can vary depending on your abilities, but the normal length is 2 miles. The 2026 cost is $40 per adult; $30 per child (7-13) (with or without leading a llama). Children must be at least 7 and will have a double lead on the llama with an adult.
These walks are very casual, and the goal is to experience peace in nature with the gentle llamas. You might also walk away with some stories about llamas, early Brunswick County life, and our local fauna and flora.
We meet at In The Pines RV and Cabin Village, 1600 George II Hwy, Bolivia, NC 28422.

If we don't pick up immediately, leave a message saying you want to book a walk. Please leave your callback number speaking slowly and clearly. You can choose a morning or afternoon walk. We do not do Sunday mornings or Tuesday afternoons walks. This is a hard-line phone so not capable of text messages.
When you call, we work out a day and choose morning or afternoon. Then we keep in contact because weather is weather. Some general guidelines we use:
Too Hot: Humidity + Temperature > 150
Too Cold: Llamas OK. Humans put on more layers
Rainy: Let's figure out your comfort for a Go/No-Go decision
We love to go year-round, but summer is a challenge. Pretty much every day in the South breaks the Too Hot guidelines.
